Watercolor freebie 2

Hey there!

It's a gray, rainy day here. Hope you are having better weather in your neck of the woods. I'm checking in with the second freebie paper in my series this week... Yeah, I know, it's my birthday and I'm giving away the gifts... :)

Today's paper is a blue and green extravaganza... I like how it almost looks like salted watercolors... Here's a wee preview:

You can grab it here. And if you do, please tell me what your favorite birthday memory is. Mine would be my 17th birthday when my best friend at the time planned a surprise party for me that was a total and complete surprise. So awesome! I had no inkling, which made it so great.

These are so cool, Krista. Thanks!

It was gray and cool here this morning, but it's sunny and hot now. I really don't have any good birthday memories that stand out for me. A couple were awful, but most were nice -- just not one that especially stands out off the top of my head.

Fantastic paper, Krista. Thanks!

My fave b-day memory would be my 32nd...I had just parted company with a fellow I dated for a few years and felt the need to do something different. I went for a skydive, loved it so much I went back the next day, and after some training, ended up getting my A license!

Wow, Kim! Talk about scary; that was exactly what I was going to say. There are no birthdays that really stand out as great or even good. I do remember that for my 16th all I wanted was a birthstone ring. I never wore it though because I was afraid I'd lose it. Now, I wear it every day in remembrance of my father.

Happy birthday! My favorite birthday memory was spending my 19th birthday in Germany. I had finished my first year of college, I had a new boyfriend (now husband), and I spent a week touring Germany singing in a choir that I had been a member of for 5 years, so even though I didn't get to spend it with my family, I was with some truly great friends that I only got to see once a year. My friend Leah (who ended up as one of my bridesmaids) took my picture on my birthday at the top of Wittenburg Castle in Germany. I have an 8x10 of that photo framed on my wall!

Great paper--Love the green! tyfs!

My birthday is on Halloween, so I can't really think of a favorite bday memory. They all sort of blend with the holiday, kwim?

I get lots of visitors on my bday, though. Usually around 175 kids, and they all dress up for the occasion. Who else can say they get that many visitors? I'm practically famous. heehee LOL

Favorite BD memory . . . wow, that's a tough one. One of my favorites was a few years ago, when my young-ish kids got up early to clean the house and bake me some brownies for breakfast! Now THAT is something worth waking up for!!
Thanks so much for the paper, and happy birthday!

Happy Birthday! Sorry, no memories come to mind. I am looking forward to my teenager's birthday this month when he is getting a guitar.

Thank you for the paper. My dh planned a surprise bday party for my 30th that was a lot of fun. I caught on before the big surprise, but it was still great getting all my friends together at one time.

love this one! so pretty!

My favorite birthday memory would probably be my 13th birthday party. It was a slumber party and all of my good friends came. We had lots of fun just being goofy and enjoying each other's company. We played with my sis' Barbie dolls and were just totally ridiculous. I even have pics :)

I don't have a favorite of my birthdays, but I do remember my friend's birthday party where we stayed up all night long and played charades.
My birthday's in early april, and it has fallen on the beginning of daylight savings time, Good Friday, Easter, etc.

I don't really have a favorite birthday memory (I actually have more bad memories associated with my birthday than good ones! lol!!). But I do remember as a child having at least a small present at the breakfast table waiting for me on my birthday. And my dad sent me a dozen long stemmed roses at school on my 16th (though my mom, a teacher at my school, had actually punished me that same day! lol!).
I also remember when I was a senior in high school, my parents were supposed to take me to dinner, but Mom got sick that day, and cancelled. Luckily, some classmates called and invited me to backyard party/bonfire that night, and I remember having a ton of fun. And when I was in college, my then-BF arranged a surprise party for me after he took me to dinner. My husband got me a great piece of jewelry for my 40th (a beautiful Alexandrite ring), but he did nothing on my actual birthday (I got the ring haphazardly two weeks later), and he thought he was buying me a sapphire! lol! Most of birthday memories are kind of mixed like that. Now I'm lucky if my kids and husband even remember it is my birthday!

Wow, cool papers - thanks! My favorite birthday memory is when I turned 16 - I got my first car - a Camaro Z28. Those were cool cars back then.

No outstanding birthday memories for me either - some not so great ones, but not one that's really "great" on the list. But then having a birthday on a holiday does that a lot. :-) Thanks for the paper - lovely as always.

Another great paper. Thanks.

Funny, that I don't really remember many childhood birthdays.
But I do love that now that I'm married, we always go out to dinner with a close group of friends.

My best birthday memory is each of my kids when they get the gift they have been dying for...the look on their faces is worth everything. I LOVE that.

Just so I can't forget how much I like your papers you had to go and do a new series of gorgeous stuff, huh? Thanks so much. I'm too brain dead right now to think of any particular birthday memories though; having enough trouble trying to type straight! :s
